Eleven+ Vocabulary Extender, Verbal Reasoning Packs and Compound Word Books

All of these resources have been personally devised by Rachel Higgins and are designed to strengthen areas that are often in need of support.

	Eleven+ Vocabulary Extender (EVE) The Eleven+ Vocabulary Extender (shortened to EVE!) workbook is a fantastic way to introduce new vocabulary and reinforce existing word knowledge. The 260 words have been split into 5 per week for 52 weeks of the year. They have been carefully selected to enhance and widen a child's vocabulary and to extend his or her ability to decode any unknown words that they may encounter in the 11+ examination or elsewhere. A "How-To-Use" section has been included on the inside cover. The cost is £6.00 per workbook. This includes postage and packing.
	11+ Compound Word Books The 11+ Compound Word Books have been a great hit with students attending our weekly sessions and holiday schools. They are a great way to gain familiarity with the compound words currently in use in the 11+ exams. Each book contains instructions on how to play either individually or with the help of an adult. There is also a cheat sheet for the adults' to use! This can be invaluable because the compound word is not always immediately obvious - for example, "FAT" and "HER" combine to form the compound word "FATHER". The three books contain 420 cards forming at least 210 compound words that are commonly used in the 11+ examinations. They are ready to cut out, play and learn. The alphabet has been split into three sections covering words starting A-E, F-O and P-Z. The cost is £10.40 for all three books. This includes postage and packing.
Verbal Reasoning Worksheets Each worksheet of questions uses selected 11+ words and scenarios and is designed to take four minutes or less to complete. Each one covers the ten most common question types, and gives your child more chance to practice question types and speed. Rachel uses these worksheets daily with all her students.

Verbal Reasoning Pack 2 This pack contains 85 questions covering 10 question types. The cost is £5.00 which includes postage and packing.
Verbal Reasoning Pack 3 This pack contains 86 questions covering 10 question types. The cost is £5.00 which includes postage and packing.
